My father was phenomenal. He inspired me and continues to do so in so many ways. I am the man I am today because of the ethical, selfless and loving gentleman that he was. I cannot express the love and respect I had for him and I am deeply pained by the reality that he is no more. Not only was he a great father, but his mentorship in business and in life in general has brought me many wins in my journey through life and will continue to do so! He was present, gentle, extremely kind but also very firm when he deemed it necessary! A man who didn't take nonsense from anyone and commanded respect by virtue of giving it first. The most intelligent and the humblest man I knew. He had so many achievements under his belt and has helped so many people who couldn't bother to reciprocate his selflessness but still never grew an ego, never became self righteous or felt entitled in any way or form. The world needs more men like him and maintaining his legacy by virtue of simply living by the values he stood by is how I am committed to fulfilling this worldly need. Men like him do not deserve to be remembered as simply unsung heroes and I wish that more people knew how much people like my father sacrificed for the privileges we enjoy today. My hero, now and forever more! Rest in peace Mokone.

Family
I must have been 4 if not 5 when I meet him... a hero without the accolades. He faithfully and lovingly Fathered me, helped me keep my head up when I didn’t see a way forward. Silently taught me what it was to be a man, brother and father. He shared life lessons with me in just allowing me to be there. You did so much for so many and i always complained why they got so much when they gave you so little. It’s hard at times to think I can’t text or call you for you to guide me and I have to rely on my memory of you to hold things together. Family and duty to what you believe in... some of the greatest lessons taught to me by you. You will always be missed but your memories and teachings will always live in. Ever grateful for your sacrifices.
